The Scots will really have their work cut out for them with this game, as France are the defending Six Nations champions and also made it to the semi-final of the rugby World Cup this year.
Scotland made it to the quarter-final of the World Cup but were dumped out by Argentina, so will be hoping to show that they have the ability to make a real tournament challenge in the Six Nations this year.
Murrayfield currently has capacity for 67,500 supporters but holds the record for the largest attendance at a rugby game, when just over 104,000 people watched Scotland play Wales in 1975.
The stadium was first used for an international in 1925, when Scotland beat England 14-11.
