Scottish Ballet Presents Romeo & Juliet
Lovers of William Shakespeare's immortal tale of star-crossed lovers may be interested in seeing the Scottish Ballet's version of Romeo and Juliet in Edinburgh this year.
The city's Festival Theatre will stage the performance five times between May 13th and 17th.
This show has enjoyed a critically acclaimed relationship with choreographer Krzysztof Pastor and boasts one of the most famous musical pieces ever written by Sergei Prokofiev.
Prokofiev's score for Romeo and Juliet is known as one of his most lyrical and expressive, detailing every element of the story from the titular characters' meeting to their tragic deaths.
People staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh who attend one of the shows will also have the opportunity to enjoy a number of related events.
There will be pre-show talks at 18:30 on May 15th and 16th and at 11:00 on May 17th there will be an introductory event covering the making of the show.
