See a Pre-Raphaelite Vision in Manchester

The Manchester Art Gallery will offer its visitors the chance to discover a fascinating artistic visionary at a special exhibition being launched this year.

Art lovers staying in cheap hotels in Manchester will be able to visit Holman Hunt and the Pre-Raphaelite Vision from October 11th until January 11th next year.

This exhibition features numerous paintings, maps, photographs and letters offering an insight into this great Pre-Raphaelite artist's life and the time in which he lived.

More than 50 key works by the artist himself will be on display, many of which are on loan from around the UK, including all three versions of his famous work The Light of the World.

This will represent the first time that the three versions of this piece, which was reportedly once the most viewed painting in the world, have been exhibited alongside one another.

To complement its Holman Hunt show, the Manchester Art Gallery will be displaying its collection of Pre-Raphaelite drawings and works on paper, including pieces by Rossetti and Millais.
