Set Sail for Pirate Island

Set sail for Pirate Island Visitors to Edinburgh who have children in tow will be able to keep the younger members of their party entertained in July with a visit to Pirate Island.

The Singing Kettle, one of Scotland's most popular children's entertainment groups, will present this show at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre on July 12th and 13th.

During the course of an all-singing, all-dancing voyage, the Singing Kettle group discover that their cargo of treasure kettles has been plundered by pirates.

There's plenty of fun to be had as the heroes of the cast set about retrieving their treasure, in a story that sees even Bonzo the dog walking the plank.

Visitors will get a chance to join in with songs including The Drunken Sailor and Over the Irish Sea and may even have the opportunity to dress up on stage.

The show has won widespread critical acclaim, with the Edinburgh Evening News describing it as "a delight for kids, parents and grandparents alike" and the Daily Mail saying the performance is entertaining "for boys and girls of all ages".
