Shaolin Monks to Visit Manchester

People who have heard of the incredible shows put on by travelling groups of Shaolin monks from China will be able to see the unique Wheel of Life show for themselves this year as it tours around the UK.

Past performances by the Shaolin monks have seen them lifted aloft on sharpened spears, smash bricks on their heads and break wood with their bare hands in front of live audiences.

The Wheel of Life show features all of the incredible acrobatics and stunts that visitors will expect and also tells the story of the Shaolin way of life.

Audiences will learn about how Shaolin culture, which is based on traditions of peace, harmony and spirituality, has been threatened throughout history by war and aggression.

People staying in cheap hotels in Manchester will be among those who will be able to see the Wheel of Life when it comes to the city's Palace Theatre on November 2nd.

The Shaolin monks will then travel to the capital for a stay at the Hackney Empire stretching from November 4th to 22nd.
