There are surely few better ways to get into the Christmas spirit than enjoying a classical music concert at an ancient church and that is exactly what many people will be doing this December.
Once again the Classic FM Christmas Concert will be held at Westminster Abbey this year on December 13th.
This is always a hugely popular event so anyone hoping to go should be quick off the mark when tickets go on sale on November 12th and also ensure that they secure a cheap hotel booking in London.
Westminster Abbey is one of the English capital's oldest and most significant buildings, having been a place of worship for Benedictine monks in the middle of the tenth century and the site of every coronation since 1066.
It is also the final resting place of 17 previous kings and queens of England.
The Classic FM concert this year will be held in aid of the Classic FM Music Makers Charitable Trust and feature the choir of Westminster Abbey.
