Hockey fans may get a chance to see some of the stars of next year's Olympics in Manchester in August, where the EuroHockey Nations Championships takes place from August 18th to the 26th.

The event, held at the Belle Vue Hockey Centre, will not only produce both a mens and ladies European champion team, but also act as a qualifier for the Beijing Olympics, with the top three going through automatically to the world's biggest sporting event.

Organisers are offering day tickets to the competition from between £12.50 and £20, depending on the seats and the day, while tickets to all nine days are on offer to adults at £100, with concessions for senior citizens and under-18's.
