This 3 star hotel is located in the city centre of London and was established in 1909. It is close to the Covent Gardens and the nearest station is Covent Garden. The Hotel has 3 restaurants, 4 bars, a conference room and a coffee shop. All 787 rooms are equipped with hairdryer and trouser press.
Single rooms to be avoided
Booked 2 single rooms for 1 night in June 2009. Didn't expect them to be so basic, and service so slow. Stifling hot, television in one didn't work when we arrived and took an hour to get sorted. I expect more than one sachet of coffee and a packet of broken biscuits in the room - requested more coffee and got 2 sachets!
However, clean, good location, reasonable breakfast and probably better in winter!
