Streets to Hit Glasgow Barrowland
Music fans staying in cheap hotels in Glasgow in October should head to the Barrowland Ballroom to see some major modern artists doing their thing.
First up will be The Streets, also known as Mike Skinner, who will be performing at the Glasgow venue on October 4th.
This show will kick off a tour that will see Skinner and his band visit Manchester, Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona, among many other destinations.
The artists following The Streets at the Barrowland may not be as well known as Skinner, but are tipped for big things.
Foals, a five-piece band from Oxford, will entertain the crowds on October 5th before the Courteeners, another product of the Manchester music scene, play on October 7th.
The musical influences will then hop over the Atlantic with a gig by American blues star Seasick Steve on October 21st before Feeder play the Barrowland on October 24th.
