Theatre Royal Plays Host to Fiddler on the Roof
Fiddler on the Roof, one of the best loved musicals of all time, arrives in Glasgow this August.
The production of this nationwide tour will feature leading man Joe McGann, star of TV comedy series The Upper Hand, plus stage legend and BBC's Only Fools on Horses contender Paul Nicholas.
Performances of the show, which includes classic songs such as If I Were A Rich Man and Matchmaker, Matchmaker, will commence at the Theatre Royal on August 18th, ending the following Saturday.
One of the longest running shows on Broadway, Fiddler on the Roof has continued to help shape pop culture for generations, with Gwen Stefani covering If I Were A Rich Man in 2004.
Set in Tsarist Russia, the musical tells the humorous, heart-warming tale of a man torn between his traditional values and his daughters' happiness in a changing world.
Ticket prices will range from £15 to £27 and two-for-one and group discounts are available.
