Time and Relative Dimensions in Manchester
Visitors to Manchester will be able to leave behind the restraints of time and space with a visit to the Doctor Who up close exhibition in Manchester, which runs until November 5th 2007.
The event has been attracting huge numbers of people to the Museum of Science and Industry in the historic Castlefield area of the city, with visitors being able to encounter first hand the slimy Slitheen, the deadly Daleks and the scary Cybermen, before buying their own sonic screwdriver in the shop at the end.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels will be able to get tickets by booking in advance with the museum (these are timed to cope with demand), with admission priced at £6.50 for adults and £4.50 for children.
Alternatively, a family of four can enter with a family ticket.
In addition to the exhibition, visitors looking for family entertainment can find everything from fossils to mummies in the Manchester Museum, while football fanatics can enjoy the Manchester United Museum at Old Trafford.
