Treefest and Woodmarket Comes to Edinburgh

People staying in cheap hotels in Edinburgh in June may get the chance to experience one of the city's distinctive and most enjoyable events, the Treefest and Woodmarket.

While a festival apparently themed around trees and wood may not seem to promise excitement, this event includes plenty of activities that are sure to get the adrenaline pumping.

This year's occasion will be the seventh time the Treefest and Woodmarket has been held in Edinburgh and the festival has traditionally proven popular with people of all ages.

Visitors will be able to take part in a range of interactive crafts and demonstrations, which will include chainsaw work, tree climbing, extreme mountain biking, axe throwing and wood carving.

There will also be a topical focus on renewable energies as well as plenty of games, entertainment, food and refreshments.
