Turn Up on Time for the Late Music Festival
Between June 6th and 14th this year the city of York will host its Late Music Festival, an event aimed at people with a love for classical music or a curiosity about modern culture.
People staying in cheap hotels in York will find most aspects of this festival at the National Centre for Early Music.
A total of 12 concerts make up the programme, as well as informative talks and an education outreach programme.
Music lovers interested in a variety of genres will be able to find something to keep them entertained at the festival as it covers all styles of music, from the early 20th century up to the present day.
The Hilliard Ensemble will headline the programme, which will also feature jazz and world music concerts.
One of the defining aspects of the Late Music Festival is its support of contemporary composers and this year's event, which will run from June 6th to 14th, will include six new performances.
