Visit Scotland for the Perth Show
Travellers planning stays in cheap hotels in Edinburgh this summer will be able to take a trip out of the city to visit Perth for the city's annual agricultural show.
The highly popular Perth Show will take place in the South Inch area of the city from July 31st to August 1st.
One of the highlights of the region's agricultural year, the show features a number of entertaining events including jousting contests and food fairs.
The Perth Show also features livestock competitions, with everything from Shetland ponies to Aberdeen Angus cattle taking part.
Perth is a popular day-trip destination for people visiting Edinburgh. Located just a short trip north of the capital city, Perth boasts a number of architectural and historical attractions.
Scone Palace stands as an example of the late Georgian gothic style of architecture and has a history stretching back to the 16th century, while Balhousie Castle dates back to 1631.
