York Opera House Celebrates Dolly Parton
People who list country music - and the music of Dolly Parton in particular - as one of their guilty pleasures may be tempted to pay a visit to York in July.
Guests in cheap hotels in York will be able to head to the city's Grand Opera House to see Dolly on July 8th.
The show celebrates an award-winning singer, musician, actress and author who is one of the most recognisable icons in American music.
Dolly features a full cast of singers, dancers and musicians who will give a performance that covers every aspect of Parton's career from her earliest days in the industry to the sold-out arena concerts she performs today.
Fans of the country music legend will hear live renditions of her most famous songs at the show, including 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, Jolene and I Will Always Love You.
Musical fans will be booking their tickets for the York Grand Opera House later in the summer to see Fame from August 6th to 8th.
