York's Busy Christmas Schedule to Entertain Hotel Guests
Guests staying in cheap hotels in York in the Christmas period will have no shortage of events to attend.
Art fans can attend the ArtSpace winter show, which features work from Richard Barnes, Lesley Seeger and Amril Varlakis, while those who fancy honing their drawing skills can take part in one of the studio sessions, which include life drawing and canvas painting classes.
The venue, located in Tower Street, will also be hosting an Art Jamming night every Friday, allowing you to wind down after a hard day's painting.
If theatre is more your thing, then get yourself down to Joseph Rowntree Theatre on December 15th, when Oddsocks theatre company will be Romeo and Juliet with a comic twist.
Pantomime organisers have told the audience to expect food fights with pasta and pizza and an Italian Job-style car chase.
In the New Year, York will host the Solid Gold Country Legends Show, a hugely popular country music event on both sides of the Atlantic.
Keeping with the festive theme, however, is York's International Christmas Fayre, which runs until December 20th.
