Broadway Show Comes to Miami
Visitors to Miami over the coming months will be able to enjoy an experience of one of America's other famous cities, New York, when a popular Broadway musical comes to town.
The Tony Award-winning show Forbidden Broadway and the entire New York cast will be at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts until May 5th this year.
Musical fans who have booked their cheap hotels in Miami will be able to enjoy this production's send-up of the theatre scene, with bizarre costumes, hilarious lyrics and comedy versions of some of Broadway's best known show tunes.
All of the biggest musicals get the spoof treatment in this show, from Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King to Hairspray, Spamalot and Avenue Q.
Once this show has finished its run, visitors to Miami will be able to see the real Avenue Q as it has a short stay at the Adrienne Arsht Center, from May 13th to 18th.
This smash-hit comedy musical shows puppets in a whole new light and won three Tony Awards when it opened in 2004.
