Tennis fans who can't get enough of it in the weeks after Wimbledon, will be able to see the stars in Los Angeles in July 2007.

Held from July 16th to 22nd the Countrywide Classic is a notable fixture in the American hard court season in the run-up to the US Open and will feature a number of the top men's players.

Organisers have announced that Britain's rising star Andy Murray has confirmed his entry, joining the likes of Fernando Gonzales, Marat Safin and last year's winner Tommy Haas for the event at UCLA's open-air court.

Tickets for the tournament will be available in June.
