Explore Da Vinci's Workshop in New York
Travellers who would be interested in learning more about Leonardo da Vinci during breaks in New York will have the chance to visit a fascinating exhibition over the coming months.
Da Vinci's Workshop will be open at the Discovery Times Square Exposition, a large-scale Manhattan exhibition centre sponsored by the Discovery Channel, until April 4th next year.
It focuses on how some of the great artist's designs for futuristic contraptions could have worked, long before they were actually built.
Visitors will be able to see full-scale, interactive models of aeroplanes, automobiles and other projects that Da Vinci worked on.
The exhibition also features touch-screen panels that offer an insight into some of his paintings, sketches and notebooks.
People staying in cheap hotels in New York will be able to see displays exploring an array of subjects over the coming months, including a show at the American Museum of Natural History telling the story of the ancient Incans and the roads they built to expand their empire.
