Flock to Florida for Film Festival

Holidaymakers who have booked cheap hotels in Orlando this month are being urged to head to the Florida Film Festival.

The event, which has already kicked off at a number of venues across the city, comes to a close on April 6th and is the ideal place to head for film fans and aspiring movie actors.

As well as screenings of feature films and documentaries, the festival also offers visitors the opportunity to learn more about the film industry through workshops and seminars.

Also included in the festivities is a competition for aspiring film makers where they get the opportunity to show their pieces in front of a panel of judges.

The festival, which has been running since 1992, has attracted a number of sponsors in the past including movie-making giant Universal Studios.

This year it promises attendance from a host of celebrities and the screening of 160 films plucked from 1,400 entries.
