Frisco Visitors Can Have Great Expectations

Frisco visitors can have Great Expectations Visitors to San Francisco will have more than just Christmas Carols to keep them entertained this year as the city hosts its Dickens Fair.

Every weekend from November 23rd to December 23rd San Francisco's Cow Palace Exhibition Halls will be transformed into a Dickensian landscape of crooked streets populated by a plethora of colourful characters.

And holidaymakers who attend this event will not have to worry about returning to a Bleak House at the end of the day, as San Francisco offers plenty of comfortable and affordable hotels.

Every year the Dickens Fair brings Victorian London to life, with all sorts of interesting sights, sounds and even smells adding to the experience.

There will be plenty of quintessentially Dickensian characters wandering around, from the charismatic and charming to the dour and disreputable.

One of the most popular elements of the fair is its interpretations of the novelist's best-known stories, including a pastiche of possibly the best-known of all Dickens' tales, A Christmas Carol.

The Cow Palace is located on Geneva Avenue in Daly City, San Francisco, close to the San Bruno mountain state park.
