For those who fancy some fun in the sun as winter approaches, the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing is ideal for those who want to roll back the months to sunnier days.
Set off the coast of Sunset Beach on Oahu, Hawaii, in late November to early December (dates to be confirmed), the contest is one of the biggest World Qualifying Series (WQS) events in the sport.
Winners of WQS events get to battle it out with the elite on the World Championship Tour.
