Hotels in Boston Get Sunny Forecast

Hotels in Boston get sunny forecast Hotels in Boston are expected to "thrive in the summer months", according to a forecast from the Federal Reserve Board.

City tourism leaders and tour operators are calling it a "rebound year" for the US city after the industry saw a drop since September 11th, reports the Boston Business Journal.

It is thought that this optimism has been driven by increased bookings at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Centre and Hynes Convention Centre, as well as increased hotel bookings.

The Museum of Science in Boston has reported a 2.5 per cent increase in what it projected for the first half of May and the Freedom Trail Foundation logged an 11.5 per cent increase in school tours so far this year.

Hotel occupancy is expected to increase in the early part of the summer, with forecasts for June and July at 86.8 per cent and 89.1 per cent respectively.

"June and July will be good," Paul Sacco, executive director of the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism, told the Journal. "I see this August as a challenge."

With tourism set to increase in this US city this summer, now may be the perfect opportunity to book your accommodation in one of the many hotels in Boston.
