John Lennon Exhibition Opens in New York
Music fans will be able to see a fascinating new exhibition dedicated to the late, great John Lennon while staying in cheap hotels in New York this year.
John Lennon: The New York City Years opened at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex on May 12th.
The show explores how the inspirational singer pursued his passions for music, art, politics and filmmaking while living in New York.
A number of items that evoke various aspects of Lennon's life feature in the exhibition, including some of his unique fashion statements, photographs, instruments, handwritten lyrics and artwork.
The display, which was created for the New York Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex by Yoko Ono, also gives visitors the first opportunity to see Lennon's famous New York City t-shirt.
Visitors to New York can see several other fascinating exhibits in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex, including personal mementos of stars including Madonna, Bruce Springsteen and the Rolling Stones.
