Golf fans have the chance to see the best female players in the world in action at the Samsung World Championship, which takes place at Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert, California.
Held from October 10th to the 14th, there can be no doubting either the quality of the field assembled or the size of the tournament, with organisers publicising a $1 million (£500,000) prize fund, while fans can get a five-day pass for the event for $65.
The line-up already confirmed for the tournament includes the likes of Michelle Wie, reigning champion Lorena Ochoa, Cristie Kerr, Morgan Pressel and Suzanne Petterson.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Palm Desert can find plenty of other exciting things to do on top of the golf, the city's website states.
Among these is the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, where rotating cable cars rise up to a mountain station 8,500 feet above sea level, while there is plenty of hiking to be enjoyed in the rugged scenery around the city.
