Las Vegas 'place to Be' for New Year
For those who want to spice up their New Year with a bit of bling there is no better place to head than Las Vegas, it has been reported.
Those who have booked cheap hotels in Las Vegas can enjoy splashing their extra cash on partying with the stars at one of the numerous venues on the world-famous strip.
Figures show that around 300,000 visitors are expected to descend on the gambling hub this week to join in the celebrations – with A-Listers holding a number of unique events.
The plushest party in town is expected to be the launch of rapper Jay-Z's latest venture 40/40 – a sports bar located in the Palazzo.
Tickets cost a cool $700 (£350) but will allow guests to rub shoulders with the likes of Beyonce, Rhianna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Jamie Foxx.
Also hosting parties in the Nevada desert location include Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline as well as Paris and Nicky Hilton and rocker Avril Lavine.
