Lizards and Snakes Take over New York
The American Museum of Natural History in New York will play host to crowds of cold-blooded creatures this year at the Lizards and Snakes Alive! exhibition.
This popular show, which will return to the museum from May 24th, includes more than 60 live animals and 27 species from across the world.
Some of the world's most fascinating and unusual animals are reptiles and they can be found in a variety of environments, from arid deserts to lush rainforests, underground chambers to lofty treetops.
One of the most popular parts of the exhibition is the supersize section, which looks at giant lizards including the komodo dragon, as well as extinct behemoths such as the mosasaurs.
There will also be a 'lizard sounds' area, where visitors will be able to hear the variety of noises that reptiles can make.
People staying in cheap hotels in New York this year can enjoy a variety of weird and wonderful sights at the Natural History Museum, including exhibitions dedicated to dinosaurs, cosmic collisions and butterflies.
