London Production of Hamlet to Show on Broadway
Theatre fans will have the chance to see the acclaimed Donmar West End production of Hamlet starring Jude Law while staying in cheap hotels in New York later this year.
The play will finish its run at the Wyndham's Theatre in London on August 22nd and move to the Broadhurst Theatre on Broadway on September 12th.
Law will continue to play the famous title role in the production, which has been given a limited 12-week run in New York.
The play is directed by Michael Grandage, the British theatre producer and current artistic director of the Donmar Warehouse.
Mr Grandage said: "Following our recent productions of Frost/Nixon and Mary Stuart, I am delighted we have been invited to bring another of our productions to Broadway.
"We feel very privileged to be part of such a vibrant theatre community and it is exciting to think that so many people will get to engage with our work and to witness Jude Law's extraordinary performance."
When Hamlet's run comes to an end, the Wyndham's Theatre will present a production of The Shawshank Redemption devised by Dublin's Gaiety Theatre from September 13th.
