Miami Hosts Comedy Festival

January can be a depressing month after the fun of the festive season so those booking cheap hotels in Miami can cheer themselves up at a unique comedy event.

Visitors to the sun soaked city are invited to join in the fun at the South Beach Comedy Festival to shake off those winter blues.

Held at The Lincoln Mall and The Fillmore, the series of events will welcome the likes of Jackie Gleason to the stage alongside Kathy Griffin and John Fugelsang.

Held from January 16th to 19th, the event looks set to see hundreds of visitors flock to the area to enjoy a few laughs.

The event marks the third year that the festival has been held in South Beach with organisers insisting they will be delivering "another bold line-up".

Raul Mateu, festival director, said: "We are very proud to host the best talent working today, as well as the next generation of talent. Knowing that we are bringing laughs to South Beach is a lot of fun for us and is very gratifying."
