MoMA Focuses on Picasso Sculptures
Pablo Picasso is one of the world's best known artists, largely as a result of his paintings.
Despite being among his lesser-known works, the Spanish visionary's sculptures are some of the most radical and striking pieces in modern art.
People staying in cheap hotels in New York will be able to discover more about this side of Picasso's work at an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) between June 13th and November 8th.
The installation is drawn entirely from the MoMA collection and encompasses the range of sculptural media that Picasso used, including cast bronzes, plasters and assemblages in various other materials.
Between May 21st and July 28th, the MoMA will host an exhibition exploring its own history of collecting, documenting and interpreting works associated with the Dada movement.
Both of these displays are part of the museum's Studies in Modern Art series.
