Those sad to say goodbye to the long days of summer sun may find an antidote in South Carolina, where Myrtle Beach hosts the Endless Summer Festival on November 4th.
The festival is part of the long Endless Summer Celebration in the Atlantic coast city, with the November event featuring music from The Buckinghams and Edwin Mckain, along with comedy by Ricky Mokel.
Art and craft stalls line the streets during the festivities, while organisers have announced a scheme where children bring a tin of canned food (which is given to a local charity) in exchange for a beanie baby.
Myrtle Beach has plenty more for visitors, with golfing, watersports and fishing on offer.
It also has an array of accommodation, including cheap hotels.
While the real summer may be long over by November, the southerly latitude means the weather will still be warm.
