Oasis Tour to Hit Vegas

Fans of the Britpop music genre will get the chance to see the band that epitomise the movement more than any other in incredible surroundings in December.

People staying in cheap hotels in Las Vegas will be able to see Oasis when they bring their world tour to the Pearl Concert Theatre in the Palms casino resort on December 6th.

This will be one of a number of shows in the United States this year, with another big performance scheduled for Madison Square Gardens in New York on December 17th.

Oasis will also be playing a number of venues in the UK in October and November, including the Birmingham NIA (October 13th and 14th), Wembley Arena (October 16th and 17th) and the Glasgow SECC (November 4th and 5th).

The tour is in support of the band's new album, Dig Out Your Soul, interest in which is currently being drummed up by the single The Shock of the Lightning.

Oasis are one of the most successful British bands in recent history, having sold more than 50 million records worldwide and seen every one of their albums since 1994's Definitely Maybe reach number one in the UK charts.
