Paul Oakenfold to Take Up Residence in Las Vegas
Partygoers who like nothing more than losing themselves in the sights and sounds of a nightclub should get their cheap hotels in Las Vegas booked soon if they want to catch a show by British DJ Paul Oakenfold.
Oakenfold will present Perfecto Las Vegas at Rain nightclub every Saturday night from August 29th throughout summer 2009.
The main man himself will perform at 26 of the show dates, with top DJs including Carl Cox, Paul van Dyk and Felix da Housecat taking his place on other nights.
Perfecto Las Vegas is a collaboration between Oakenfold and award-winning director Vello Virkhaus. It will feature cutting-edge visual design and aesthetic aspects including multi-screen displays and computer graphics.
Michael Fuller, vice-president of the N9NE Group, which helped organise the club nights, said they will be "the most extravagant nightlife experience Las Vegas has ever seen".
Rain nightclub covers an area of 25,000 square feet and is based at the Palms casino resort.
