Reptile Show Crawls into Miami

Reptile show crawls into Miami Animal lovers will have the opportunity to appreciate creatures of every shape and size in Miami over the coming months as the city hosts a travelling reptile show.

The exhibit, called Reptiles: The Beautiful and the Deadly, will be at the Miami Metrozoo until May 11th this year.

People staying in cheap hotels in Miami can find the display, which is the world's largest travelling reptile exhibit, in the zoo's indoor museum, Dr Wilde's World.

Visitors will be able to see all manner of shelled, scaled and venomous creatures, including the alligator snapping turtle, which lures fish into its mouth using its worm-like tongue, and the hooded cobra.

Other members of the exhibit including the gila monster, one of the most venomous lizards in the world, the diamondback rattlesnake and the African gaboon viper, which has the longest fangs of any snake.

After all the excitement of the reptile show, visitors may want to relax with an evening at the theatre, with Forbidden Broadway and Avenue Q both showing at Miami's Adrienne Arsht Centre for the Performing Arts in May.
