Rockwell Exhibit Comes to Orlando

Rockwell exhibit comes to Orlando Art lovers will have plenty to keep them interested in Orlando this year as the city hosts an exhibition dedicated to Norman Rockwell.

A tribute to this legendary American painter will be held at the Orlando Museum of Art from March 1st to May 26th.

Organised by the Norman Rockwell Museum, with the support of an American Masterpieces grant, the show will trace the evolution of Rockwell's art through his career.

People staying in cheap hotels in Orlando will be able to see the artist's reflections on childhood innocence in paintings such as No Swimming, as well as works with more serious concerns, such as The Problem We All Live With.

A total of 41 original paintings and a complete set of 323 pieces created for the Saturday Evening Post will comprise the exhibition.

From May 18th this year, the Orlando Museum of Art will host a showcase of the work of William Joyce, a talented children's artist who has won two Emmy awards for his popular show that airs on the Disney Channel.
