Toast Coffee and Tea in NYC
People staying in cheap hotels in New York will be able to pay tribute to the enduring appeal of coffee and tea at a special event this year.
The third annual Coffee and Tea Festival will take place at the Metropolitan Pavilion, West 18th Street on April 12th and 13th.
This exploration of two of the world's most popular beverages covers a variety of issues, with the 2007 event hosting lectures on the future of tea and the intricacies of coffee cupping and tasting.
Exhibitors and partners affiliated with the festival include Tafu of New York, Jalima Coffee, Nestle, Mighty Leaf and San Pellegrino.
Visitors will be able to learn all there is to know about tea and coffee and their attendance will also help raise funds for Cup For Education, the festival's official charity.
This organisation helps poor rural communities in Central and Latin America establish schools and teach local children about coffee farming.
