Top New York Shows to End Soon
Theatre fans should get their cheap hotels in New York booked soon if they want to see two famous shows in the world's best known theatre district.
Both South Pacific and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof are currently wowing the crowds on Broadway and both will end their runs on June 22nd.
South Pacific returned to the stage this year in its first-ever Broadway revival and has proved a huge hit among theatregoers, who have enjoyed songs including Nothing Like a Dame and Some Enchanted Evening.
Visitors will find the show at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
The new production of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which is showing at the Broadhurst Theater, boasts an all-star cast including Terrence Howard, James Earl Jones and Phylicia Rashada.
Theatre lovers who miss these shows will have plenty more to keep them entertained in New York this summer, with Phantom of the Opera, Grease, Chicago and Avenue Q all showing in April.
