Those who fancy themselves as great sportsmen and sportswomen have a great chance to prove it while enjoying a trip to sunny Florida this September.
Downtown Orlando Triathlon takes place on September 15th 2007 (date to be confirmed), offering visitors who register beforehand the chance to take part in a race that tests three very different sporting skills.
The organiser's website reveals that the course involves a ¼ mile swim, 11.5 mile bike ride and finally a 3.7 mile run.
Many different races are held according to gender and age group, with food, drink and a free raffle awaiting the competitors at the end.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels can, of course, simply watch the event instead, with free entry.
Orlando and its surrounding area is famous for a series of major attractions.
These include the Walt Disney World Resort and Gatorland with its array of crocodiles and alligators, while Kennedy Space Centre, where the space shuttle takes off, is not far away.
