UK Lad's Mag Plans Sexy Vegas Hotel
Maxim, the popular men's magazine, plans to lend its name to a £638 million hotel-casino to open in 2010.
Situated on the Las Vegas strip, the hotel will boast around 2,300 rooms, while an official says it will feature an ethos of "girls, entertainment, sports and stupid jokes".
"It's going to be upscale, it's going to be four-star, it's going to be sexy and flirtatious, absolutely," said Barry Pincus, director of brand development for Maxim publisher Dennis Publishing.
"But it'll also be fun, it'll be comfortable," he added.
Maxim is targeted at young men and features shoots with glamour models, gadgetry and sports news.
From a technical aspect, Mr Pincus stated that the hotel would be run by a management company, while Dennis Publishing will gain a lump-sum payment, plus a percentage of profits from the hotel, but not the casino.
