Vienna Boys' Choir to Entertain New York
New York will be playing host to one of the world's oldest musical institutions, the Vienna Boys' Choir, in December.
The group will be giving their annual Christmas concert at Carnegie Hall on December 16th.
As well as its variety of cheap hotels, New York is well-known for its busy festive calendar, of which this event is now a traditional part.
The choir will perform a number of choral pieces, including traditional sacred music and folk songs from around the world.
Four groups make up the Vienna Boys' Choir, which are named after Austrian composers Bruckner, Haydn, Mozart and Schubert.
Incredibly the choir has been in existence since 1498, when it was founded by Imperial decree of Hapsburg Emperor Maximilian I.
